After revisiting our trek to Mount Everest Base camp through videos, we have come to the end. The day that we arrive at our destination. From the spectacular views of the Khumbu Ice Fall and the South Cole to the bonding with our guide Deep and Porter Sher, it was an amazing day.
The sun shone brightly, the sky was blue and the air was comfortably warm.
Enjoy following along as we reach Mount Everest Base Camp today!

Thank you so much. Climbing to Everest Base Camp was one of the most memorable experiences of our lives!
Congratulations on reaching that spot on Mount Everest. It is already an achievement. You have a nice video in there too. It would really be great to just lie down under the sun, to rest and move on again. What a really nice adventure you’re having! Well, be safe and good luck to all of you.
Thanks Steven. It was awesome relaxing, the hard part was getting motivated to get back up. But then when we made it to base camp, everything was worth it. It is spectacular and beautiful!
I was supposed to conclude my RTW trip in Nepal but had a change of plans to see more of Southeast Asia. I’m truly bummed I won’t make it to Everest Base Camp this time around but it’s still on my travel list!
Don’t worry, you’ll make it there one day. It took us three trips to Asia before we finally made it to Nepal. It is a little out of the way from the usual SE Asia countries and it seems to be a place that you have to plan for. We had been meaning to come here for a while and it took us 10 years of travel before we finally did.
Awesome. I did a different trek when I was in Nepal: to the base camp of Mount Annapurna. Amazing sights along the way and especially at the base camp. The climb was fairly easy for the most part, but I did get a little altitude sickness once I went over 4000 metres. You’re right, it is a very memorable experience – I did it back in the late 90s, and I can still remember it clearly.
Wow Philip, it must have been incredible in the 90′s. There was probably nobody on the trail with you. We would like to go back and do the Annapurna Base Camp trek. So much to do and so little time. I am glad that you think of it as being as memorable as we do.
