Alongside my husband and travel partner, Dave, I left the 9-to-5 grind in my 30s to travel the world and reinvent my life. We founded The Planet D in 2008 to chronicle our adventures and prove that anyone can (and should) explore more and live boldly.

As a proud Canadian, I believe in sharing human-first travel stories and honest advice. We’ve hiked the Arctic tundra and cycled across Africa, and I love using our first-hand experience to help millions of readers plan their dream trips—no fluff, just real advice.
