The Theme of the Interview was “Pursuit of Bliss and Adventure” and we were honoured to be invited to chat on travel radio with Vicky St. Clair of 1150 KKNW in Seattle, Washington. It was one of our favourite interviews we have ever done and we wanted to share it with you today.

What a coincidence that one of our ExpediaFindYours ads featured Dave and I in India at the Golden Temple Finding our Bliss, we were invited to talk about adventure, but as we have pursued our dream of travel and adventure over the years, we have also managed to find our bliss.

Travel Radio with Vicky St. Claire

There are a lot of travellers on the Pacific Coast and her show, Conversations with Vicky St. Clair is a talk radio show that inspires people to travel and pursue their passion.  She chats with ordinary people living extraordinary lives and we were thrilled that they looked at us as one of those people. Vicky is a talented interviewer who asked the questions that really hit home. She brought out the best in us and knew so much about our background and theme of ThePlanetD. We felt that it was on of our most inspiring interviews we have ever done and one that we are the most proud of. We hope you enjoy!

We are just two ordinary people living an extraordinary life right now. We never thought we’d be able to live our dream. In 2003 we were traveling around South East Asia for 7 months and we both remember yearning for a way to make this our living. It took us another 5 years before we figured out how to turn our passion into a reality, but we finally did it and are now tackling adventures all ove the world.

As I write this article, we are in San Francisco fulfilling our dream of taking a road trip along the California Coast with pitstops at the Grand Canyon, Joshua Tree, Yosemite and Zion National Parks. We have wanted to take this trip since we first met in college. It took us 20 years but we have learned that dreams do come true. And better yet, we get to take this trip with our favourite tour company Intrepid Travel who we have developed a friendship and relationship with over the past three years. We are truly lucky people and we want everyone to know that you can be lucky to.
