Since it is cold outside in many parts of the world we thought we’d give you a little escape from winter and share our favourite things to do in Thailand.
Hostel Bookers is running a game of photo tag and were kind enough to include us in their inaugural post. I love going back through photographs that I haven’t looked at recently. Each one tells a story and reminds me of a precious moment in time.
Vang Vieng in Laos is one of those places that you hear mixed reviews about. Some people have the time of their lives while others can’t wait to get out of there. The general apprehension is that if you’re a twenty year old backpacker wanting to get drunk and go tubing down a river, you’ll love it. If you fit into any other category, you’ll hate the place. I wanted to find out for myself.
Wow, can you believe it’s nearly 2012? This has been a short Christmas season, it seems shorter than usual with Christmas and New Years falling on a Sunday. It seems like the holidays just got started and they are already coming to and end

Picture perfect portraits tell so much about the subject. When we travel, we meet so many sweet and curious children around the world that absolutely love having their photos taken.
The Holiday season is fast approaching and while we may be all about Christmas here in Canada, we’ve got nothing on the astounding Asian Festivals that we’ve attended in the past. We’ve been lucky enough to stumble upon some awesome festivals like Shilpgram in Udaipur India, Chinese New Year in Malaysia, A cremation ceremony in [...]
As I go through the list of amazing ruins we have visited on our travels, I see that we have barely scratched the surface of all there is to see in the world. We have yet to see Easter Island, Stonehenge, The Acropolis in Athens or the Roman Colosseum. We may never see any of [...]
Taking portraits is one of my favourite forms of photography. When we were traveling through Northern Thailand with The Smiling Albino, we had a gorgeous day walking along the tea terraces. Yes, there are tea terraces in Thailand.
Today we are on our way to the Adventure Travel World Summit in Chiapas Mexico and we thought it would be a good idea to stick with the adventure theme and share Part two of our Top 5 countries for adventure around the world. There was no way we could narrow our favourite destinations down [...]
Want to take part in Adventure Travel? Many people have asked us how they can add adventure into their travels. They think that if they don’t have a lot of time, they can’t have an adventure. Oh yes you can!
This summer we were approached by American Express Canada to test drive their new American Express Gold Rewards Card and after using it for the past few months, we’re big fans.
