FAQs about hotels in Las Vegas

Take a Chance in Sin City

Famed for its glamorous casinos, celebrity visitors and endless streams of entertainment, Las Vegas buzzes with activity 24/7. Located in the heart of the Nevada desert, this city is called the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason.

You can stroll down Fremont Street in old Las Vegas like a member of the Rat Pack or act like a modern high-roller at Caesar’s Palace. Prepare for a long night as the neon lights of clubs and casinos will tempt you to sink into the world of gambling and music.

Las Vegas is renowned of its fine dining, great shopping and live performances of famous artists and comedians. Right from the moment you leave McCarran International Airport you can try your luck at a slot machine, but you might want to wait until you get to the Las Vegas strip and the dozens of larger than life casinos.

When you’re ready for a break from the bustle of the city, visit the nearby Hoover Dam with the largest man-made lake, Lake Mead. The Paiute Indian Reservation in Vegas’ downtown area offers something a bit more spiritual.

Whichever type of accommodation you choose, whether a skyscraper hotel or a design city apartment, you’ll never run out of fantastic activities in Sin City. Booking.com has the perfect place to stay for your Vegas vacation.

I missed the buffet at the Mirage and the tigers, all gone.

I missed the buffet at the Mirage and the tigers, all gone. I loved the Luxor and Mandalay friendly atmosphere, shops, bars... Hated the $15 for a regular cheap pint of beer. Hope to ride a Zoox taxi next time.

So much to do and explore.

So much to do and explore. Staying at Caesars Palace was amazing. Absinthe Show at Caesars Palace is a must for all adults. Hell's Kitchen Restaurant has the most amazing steaks ever. Tip for travellers, use all the foot bridges and don't try to cross the roads.

Crazy action packed place with so much to do and see. The distances are huge, so bring comfortable shoes. We bought a pass for the deuce bus, which runs the full length of the strip 24 hours a day. They run every ten minutes or so during the day and there are lots of stops at the major hotels Freemont street was amazing to see

Fremont Street is the place to be on the weekends, crazy stuff happens on Fremont Street. We have stayed at The D, Golden Nugget, El Cortez, I can't remember the D rooms or the El Cortez, the Nugget we were just there and the bed were not comfortable, the rooms are good size etc. However there are several other hotels on Fremont Street. The Excalibur on the strip is ok, we just stayed at the MGM, this was nice, bed comfy big pillows, several restaurants to choose from, several shows to see and its located on a corner so your close to other hotels/casinos.

Always so much to see in Las Vegas!

Always so much to see in Las Vegas! I would recommend enjoying a meal at Border Grill in the Mandalay Bay! Fantastic food! Then afterwards, check out the Shark Reef attraction a few steps away! For a unique experience book a night view of the strip with one of the helicopter companies! A short but unforgettable experience that is also affordable entertainment for the whole family!

I have gone for years with young kids, as a couple and now as a girl trip. I do not drink or gamble and always have a great time. There is something for all ages and types of groups. There are tons of free activities like walking through all the casinos for their themed experiences and the fountains, shows for young kids all the way through to adult only, unique museums like Titanic and Meow Wolf, amusement park in Circus Circus, etc. There is even some great hiking within about 40 minutes of the strip.

Lovely room. Superb location. This hotel is right on the strip. Across the street from Caesar’s Palace where I was attending a show. Friendly staff. Check in was easy once I found the front desk. It’s at the back of the lobby. Through the casino. Typical for Las Vegas. Fun.
