Just a 5 minute walk to the iconic DeLeon Springs, home of the Old Sugar Mill Pancake House. A 10 min drive to Stetson and Downtown DeLand. A short 40 min drive to the World’s Most Famous Beach, Daytona Beach. DeLeon Springs is home to Chuck Lennon Park, popularly known for mtn biking trails. Looking for something different? Head to the DeLand Airport for lunch at The Perfect Spot. There you’ll watch as skydivers gracefully descend, OR jump yourself…if you dare! There is something for everyone!!
We live on the property in the main house and will be available throughout your stay should you need us for anything.
Quiet, removed from all the hustle and bustle of city living. A car is probably necessary unless you intend to uber or just spend your time around the cottage and surrounding areas. Restaurants Nearby: -City Limits has a great set-up. Entertainment on the weekends AND they have 4 to 6 blow up bounce houses for the kids every Sunday. They have a couple of food trucks in the yard as well! -Karlings has been around for decades and their menu is sure to make your mouth water. Be prepared for a full experience, as there service is not the fastest, but their quality and care in the product they serve absolutely compensates for the time you'll spend dining there. They are only open on the weekends. -Twin Brothers Cafe and Bakery has DIVINE food. Across the street from the bakery you will find a local farmers market with. -Old Sugar Mill Pancake House- This is located inside DeLeon Springs State Park and is famously known for the pancake experience. You have a griddle at the table and get to make and shape and indulge in the best pancakes around! -Do the boat tour after breakfast followed by a nice cool dip in the spring pool. Bring a towel and a bathing suit! Arrive Early!
