Featuring mountain views, Macrae Croft- Rooms in Gairloch offers accommodations and a garden. This bed and breakfast provides free private parking and bicycle parking.

Clean, tidy, and beautiful. The room was so comfortable and had windows overlooking the water and the mountains in the distance. The property is on private land with a sheep farm, so breakfast in the morning, sitting out in the sun next to the sheep, was spectacular. A perfect way to recharge in peace after long days of driving and hiking. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet stay away.

On the shores of Loch Gairloch, Shieldaig Lodge is one of the few remaining traditional Highland shooting Lodges open to the public.

Beautiful setting. Our room was exceptional (the suite). Staff were brilliant, food was delicious. We even saw seals from the room. We loved it so much that we can't wait to back and enjoy it again with a little more time as we only stayed for one night

A bit difficult to say as the recent storm was in full flow by the time we arrived but it was still a beautiful place. A great location for those who like the outdoors and also for those who enjoy the natural beauty. There are a number of restaurants and the museum is well worth a visit.

From the write up about the hotel it made it sound as if it was in Gairloch but it was quite a long distance away. The facilities by the harbour were closed for the winter even though it was September. The sister hotel was OK except dog friendly and they were in the dining area. The waterfall was beautiful.

Gairloch is lovely; we stayed two days and enjoyed our travels out and about in the area but would not return to this hotel again. Hated having to come back to it for the second night, whereas we should have been looking forward to it. We had to experience another night in a double bed that was two single beds put together (badly).... and that had two SINGLE quilts on top ????? - and then to wake up in the morning to a second breakfast - a repeat of the awful shambles the day before. So - Gairloch is a lovely place but this hotel is NOT recommended. Way overpriced and under delivers in all areas.

Great place with spectacular, inspiring scenery, a nice little town with good facilities, nice cafe and farm shop as well as an excellent museum. The only downside when we visited was the local chippy only opened on Thursday, Friday and Saturday!😊

Gairloch is an easily accessed centre from which to explore the western Highlands; it also has some very acceptable sandy beaches. There are plenty of hotels and B&Bs in Gairloch, but many are closed in winter.

Stayed at Macrae Croft for a night on a very short trip to Gairloch. A beautiful room with stunning views over the sea, with lambs jumping and playing in the field outside my room. Tea, coffee, fridge and a packed continental style breakfast all available too. Lovely, friendly, easy to chat to hosts. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if I am in the area.
