From the first warm greeting at reception, every staff interaction felt effortless and sincere. The resort is a true pocket of calm: birdsong floats through the gardens all day, and we spent most of our stay simply chilling by the pool or on the balcony, enjoying the immaculate room and sunrise reflections on the water. The buffet meals were another highlight, packed with fresh Moroccan flavours and plenty of variety—great value for a quick getaway.

Marrakech is amazing, there's so much to see, do, and learn!
Marrakech is amazing, there's so much to see, do, and learn! The city is full of history, and the people are generally very friendly. Everywhere you go, it feels like the past is alive around you.
A few things I wish I knew before coming: tipping is expected for almost everything. Even if someone offers help (like showing you the way), they’ll expect a tip. Kindness here can come with a cost, so be prepared and you’ll enjoy your time more.
Also, paying by card is not reliable. It’s much better to carry cash, either in the local currency or euros, and try to have small notes or 1–2 euro coins to avoid issues.
Wear light, comfortable clothes and good walking shoes. It makes a big difference when exploring the city!
Enjoy your trip, it’s truly a unique and unforgettable place!

We absolutely loved our time in Marrakech which is a vibrant, welcoming city full of colour, flavour, and charm.
Highlights included wandering through the Medina, enjoying rooftop lunches, and staying at Palais Moulay Said, where the staff were incredible. A special mention to Youssef (يوسف) in the restaurant, who was incredibly warm and had attention to detail, stood out.
TOP TIP: Get your currency from local ATMs once you arrive and make sure you have plenty of smaller notes.
Tipping is a core part of the culture here and it’s a beautiful way to give back to the kindness and generosity of the people.
It’s also a vital support for many who’ve been impacted by rising prices post-Covid, especially those working in taxis, restaurants, and hospitality.
Your small gesture can make a big difference.

Only here for 3 days and took a walking Tour of the Medina on the first day (6 Hours) visiting the Souk, the Kasbah, and the Mellah or Jewish quarter which was well worth while as an introduction to the city, its people, the culture and history as well as including several Key sites along with of course a few opportunities to buy carpets, herbs, spices, cloths and memorabilia of assured quality. Do visit Jemaan el Fnaa for Cobras, Trained Monkeys, street stalls and at night time an incredible night life of music and singing. A visit to a Hammam, well worth while, relaxes and sets the mood for your visit. The gardens *Jardin Majorelle* are beautiful gem well wort a visit, we did it without a guide which gave us more time and a relaxed time. For food we were very happy with street food.

Marrakesh pleasantly surprised me; we want to return for a longer stay.
The people are very friendly and fun. We felt safe and had no problems finding places.
Getting lost in the Medina is part of the fun...it's so much fun trying to find our way around again.

Marrakech is a colourful, culturally rich, and charming city. It offers a blend of historic customs and contemporary life, earning it the nickname "Red City" for its unusual architecture. Every aspect of Marrakech, from the vibrant medina souks to the serene gardens and magnificent castles, has a tale to tell. A must-see for any traveler, the well-known Jemaa el-Fna square comes to life with performers, food, and music.

The host gave better treatment than a 5 star hotel. He Helped With anything i needed done when i first got there he sent me Information about the local area such as where to eat and what shops there is around And even where to swap Currencys. He also Sorted out a 2nd apartment for another family that was travelling with me on the same day due to their planned booking being a fraud. The Apartment is Well Kept and has good AC. Overall I was Very Happy with my stay and the host was excellent
When you first walk into the building it is grand and impressive but the rest of the hotel is a disappointment, certainly not a 5 star or 4 star even hotel. At breakfast some birds flew into the room and were eating from the buffet, staff didn’t do anything about this.
The all inclusive package made the holiday simple and enjoyable. The staff were always willing to address issues promptly. The hotel made up for its location by providing free shuttle buses into the city.
