We Want to Go To Australia

Now is the time for some shameless self promotion on our site. Or should I say shameless begging and grovelling.

As you may know, Dave and I are trying desperately to get ourselves into the Geoff the Campervan for the Vantastic Adventure contest at World Nomads. They are looking for a team to drive a Geoff the Van across different provinces in Australia for 6 weeks at a time.

This would be a fabulous way to kick start our next trip. We are planning on leaving at the end of this year, so the timing is perfect to showcase Australia during the Victoria leg.  We would just have to leave 6 weeks earlier than planned, and who wouldn’t want to do that!

We have always wanted to go to Australia, but it has been out of our budget. We tend to travel to more developing countries to make our money last. We thought it would be a few more years before we made it Down Under, so when this opportunity came along, we jumped on it!

You would do us a world of good if you visited the WorldNomadsGroup on youtube and give us a vote. We want to show them at Vantastic that we will be able to give them a lot of publicity and that we will be ready and able to blog, podcast, tweet and promote our time in Australia on the Vantastic Adventure. We will show them that we are an extreme adventure couple that will showcase everything Victoria can throw at us and that we are strong at video editing and having a theme to our documentary.

The more people we can get to our video voting for us, the better.
