Next month we are traveling to Paris. It is exciting to be making our way to Europe after almost five months in Asia.
However, traveling in Paris is going to be quite different than most of our recent adventures through Asia. Europe requires more planning and preparation than we are used to. We need to book hotels in advance, compare flights and even hire a car.
We have been checking out several online booking sites and when TravelGrove contacted us to try their site we felt that they couldn’t have had better timing.
We immediately got down to business and started looking at the services that TravelGrove offers to its customers.
The first thing that we noticed was how easy to follow their home page is. Everything you need is at your fingertips. If you are looking for the cheap flight to a particular city, just fill in the form stating the destination of your choice on the specific dates that you want to fly and TravelGrove will do the rest of the work for you. Within seconds it searches multiple booking sites to find you the best deal available.
I was impressed with just how great the deals were. These were some of the cheapest flights we had found in all our searches.
We then checked out hotels in downtown Paris and were surprised to find some very reasonable prices. It even lists the amenities and location of the hotel including a map.
TravelGrove searches all of the major booking sites like cheapoair.com, priceline.com, otel.com and booking.com at once and compares their prices saving you valuable time. If you have a favorite website such as travelocity, expedia, kayak or hotwire, you can go ahead and check the compare results box at the bottom of your request to have Travel Grove search those sites as well.
Be prepared though, when you check the “compare results” you will have pop up windows come up. I found it easier to enter my information and simply click on “search multiple sites.” I am not a fan of pop up windows and the results that Travel Grove finds this way are good enough without clicking on the compare results.
In June we will be attending the Travel Blog Exchange 2010. After browsing the site and checking out deals, you can be certain that we will looking to Travel Grove to find a great cheap flight to New York ourselves.
What we liked is that everything you need for your vacation is on one page. From car rentals to cruises, package vacations to last minute deals. You can find everything you need on their website. It caters to every type of traveler.
You can even find information about the country or city that you are visiting in their travel guide section
Overall, we will definitely use TravelGrove in the future. We liked the sites simplicity, the choice of destinations and services from a Las Vegas travel Guide to a hotel booking in Kathmandu or a car rental in Paris. What we like the most however was the deals. As budget and long term travelers, we are always searching for the greatest savings. We were surprised just how good the prices were on TravelGrove.com
Checking out the site now!

Cool site! I have several trips coming up later this year that I’ve not yet booked flights for, so I’ll be checking them out.
By the way, I’ve really been enjoying your “featured videos” in your sidebar – always entertaining!

Hi Trisha, it really is a good site. We have to buy a ticket to Alaska at the end of June and we used TravelGrove again to compare sites. It saved a lot of time.
Travel grove is so wonderful it has all destinations and it depends on where you want to go and you will have fun.visit site and make bookings the earlier the better. Thanks for the information.
You can say that again – when it comes to booking a break in europe – something will go wrong, always.
Saying that though, as long as the flights are reasonable, i’m generally up for stuff going wrong!
