Dave is leading a photography tour in Toronto on Saturday September 25th at 2:00 pm to show you everything you need to know about how to capture a moment in time. Search for interesting angles and learn how to read the light using contrast and shadow.
We went on our own little tour this weekend and he transformed my images into something interesting.
I have included my original photos of sites in Kensington Market and then the photographs that were taken after Dave gave me some pointers.
I just know that people will be thrilled with this event put on by Intrepid Travels. Jason from Urban Adventures will be on hand to teach you all about the history of Kensington Market and Toronto’s Chinatown.
To sign up for this FREE tour, go to the EventBrite page to guarantee your space.
Visit Focus on Toronto, Urban Adventure Photography Tour for event details and time and to reserve your space.

I SO wish I could participate in Dave’s workshop – I really need to learn how to take better photographs (or at least ones that don’t feature my thumb)……but I love that you show the different perspectives above – I look at the ‘before’ photos and think that they look great, but then I can see how the ‘after’ photos are really improved……so I’m learning from this post.

Ok. This will sound like a broken record but again I plead that Dave will do a photo tour during TBEX’2011.
I would love to learn from him. Awesome pictures! Love how you show the before and after.

Thanks Amy. We will just have to come to Atlanta one day and have Dave give you a lesson. I am learning. All the photos were taken by me with his advice. It was tempting to put up his photos which were so much better, but I wanted to show what people can learn I had no idea how to capture bubbles before that day.
great pics! i really love the first one
wow, just changing some things turned ordinary into extraordinary! wish i lived close by sounds like some good instruction
