That would be because we didn’t swim in Devil’s Pool. It wasn’t the right time of the year when we were there, the waters were too high. And we could only recommend our top 5 adventures. Although I would love to try swimming in Devil’s Pool

The Gorge Swing looks terrifying but absolutely amazing. Definitely something that’ll make it on my bucket list. I actually just read an article by Julia Dimon on her experiences with the swing…it was pretty good! Check it out at

I went to Zambia with my school in my senior year, we built a school and helped out in the village it was the best experience of my life, Zambia is great and the people are amazing.

I can’t wait to go to Africa! Oh when, oh when will I ever get there? After baby no. 2 is the answer. Hopefully. Victoria Falls – definitely on my must-do list. Not sure about the Batoka Gorge free fall, though. Maybe the other 4 adventures are more suitable for my heart.

I love Victoria Falls and this post is fantastic. I would love for everyone to do the Mists of Time Tour with Russell Gammon, who is a specialist guide with a focus on Africa’s historical and cultural legacies. He is fabulous and his knowledge of Africa and the Victoria Falls is unsurpassed.

Also, though it might be a discussion, I would recommend the Elephant Back Safari and the Walk with Lions experience.

Whaw, especially the helicopter flight caught my attention. I’ve done a helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon and it was AMAZING. I can totally imagine flying over the Victoria Falls is similar to my experience, because of the way you describe it! It IS exciting, worth every penny and hard to describe. You just have to experience it yourself Well, Victoria Falls is still on my wishlist, so now I already know how I’ll visit them
