Comfort during long term travel is important. We have our comfort things that come with us wherever we go. It is our little home away from home in our backpack during our adventure of a lifetime.
Last night I woke up in the middle of the night with a panic attack. It suddenly dawned on me that we are leaving a week from Wednesday. We had just come back from visiting Dave’s family and I started thinking about how many people we still have to visit and there are only two weekends left! We have a million and a half things to do with the website, banking, packing, cleaning up my parents house and leaving it in tip top shape, putting all our paper work in order…You get the idea.
Dave and I have a couple of odd personalities. We know it. Whenever we are travelling, we long for home and whenever we are at home, we long to travel. Now that we are Blogging about our travels and have a sense of purpose when we are on the road, we long for home a little less. We love travel, but we always found that when we were away for months on end that we lost our reason for getting up every morning. Endless travel can become just as old hat as working too much when you are at home.
It is hard to believe that our summer at home is coming to an end soon and in a short time we will be back on the road exploring the world. Not before we meet with fellow travel lovers for an inspiring evening of Meet Plan Go though. If you have ever had the dream of taking an extended travel but don’t have the resources or means to make it happen, Meet Plan Go is for you. The event is completely free and it is going to be one motivating evening. We are excited to be a part of a panel of travellers that we have admired in the past and can now call them our friends and mentors.
When traveling for an extended period of time you want you money to stretch for as long as possible. But how do you not fall into the trappings and scams that occur once you land at the airport of a foreign country.
