We arrived on a windy day in Paris feeling well rested on our upgraded Air France Business Class Flight. We were supposed to be flying on their new Premium Voyageur Class, but due to a last minute switch, we ended up on the more luxurious business class. We won’t bore you with the details; we already did that on our Qatar Airways post where we were upgraded less than a month ago, but let me tell you this, the food was amazing.
It was a cool day in Paris but you would never know it from our photograph. We braved the wind and cold to show off our new StumbleUpon Tshirts. When we were asked if we would like to have a couple of their new stylish shirts to take along with us during our travels we happily accepted. We were surprised to see just how subtle the logos on the t-shirts were. They were even nice enough for us to wear around Paris and feel right in place with the good looking Parisians. So where did we head to first with our new duds? The Eiffel Tower of course!
You’ll Have to Excuse me I’m not at my best, I’ve been gone for 5 months, I need home for a rest. Our Central Asian Adventure has come to an end for awhile. We will make it back there one day soon, but we had to come home so that we could go to France. It turned out to be great timing for us to go to France for the month of May. Who doesn’t like Paris in the springtime? Plus, we found out from Princess Cruises that we would be joining on their #FollowmeatSea Media trip to Alaska just one week after returning from Europe.
Six months ago, we decided to work diligently on our blog. It has been an amazing experience writing daily posts and it has made us reflect on our past travels. In a few short weeks, we will be making new memories, but for now we would like to share some of our Favorite things that we have encountered in our travels. We were brainstorming about moments that have stood out over the years and here is our list of Favorites from abroad.
Sometimes, the best part of travel is getting your luggage lost. Wait, wait! Hear me out. I’m serious. Here’s the story. A couple years ago I flew from Toronto to France via London. I was traveling with my friend Gillian. We went in September and planned on spending time in Paris, Marseille and then Poland. We were prepared for an assortment of weather possibilities.
