An adventure photographer needs a durable hard drive. That is just a fact. So when I was approached by ioSafe to test out there 1TB Aluminum Rugged Portable drive I jumped on the opportunity.
It is our last day if kickboxing at Rawai Muay Thai in Thailand and it started off with a bang. A very loud bang as our computers fell onto the tile floor that is. Oh, and on to our 1 terabyte external hard drive with all our photos from Fiji and China sitting inside. We didn’t have time to assess that damage as we had to leave for an orphanage in Phuket.
When we got home for a little bit between our Asian Adventure and European Travels. We thought that it would be a time to visit friends and family. Relax and enjoy doing nothing. It turned out to be a frantic time of planning, booking flights and hotels, writing articles and catching up on all the networking that we had fallen behind on. Oh, and buying a new Mac. Here is what happened. We opened up the computer one morning and it wouldn’t boot. We tried everything. We needed to get that computer fixed ASAP. Our Solution.
We bought a new computer.
We haven’t been traveling for very long yet and we have many growing pains to work through. Both with travel, technical aspects and with the blog. Finding a story and keeping it interesting. We have never had to worry about how long we stayed at a place before or how often we need to get to the Internet, but now that we are working to become full time Travel Bloggers and professional travelers, we really have to look at our journey in a different way.
