Back in January we entered a contest where we had to let people out there on the Internet know that Air France has launched a new class, the Premium Voyageur Class on many of their long haul flights. We thought it would be fun to do the research and write the post and as it turned out our article Air France Launches New Premium Voyageur Class won. During our flight home from France we were in our proper place in the new Premium Voyageur Class and we wanted to share what it was like with all of you.
We arrived on a windy day in Paris feeling well rested on our upgraded Air France Business Class Flight. We were supposed to be flying on their new Premium Voyageur Class, but due to a last minute switch, we ended up on the more luxurious business class. We won’t bore you with the details; we already did that on our Qatar Airways post where we were upgraded less than a month ago, but let me tell you this, the food was amazing.
You’ll Have to Excuse me I’m not at my best, I’ve been gone for 5 months, I need home for a rest. Our Central Asian Adventure has come to an end for awhile. We will make it back there one day soon, but we had to come home so that we could go to France. It turned out to be great timing for us to go to France for the month of May. Who doesn’t like Paris in the springtime? Plus, we found out from Princess Cruises that we would be joining on their #FollowmeatSea Media trip to Alaska just one week after returning from Europe.
Planning on a trip to Europe this summer? Air France is offering an amazing deal exclusive to theplanetd readers. They have given us a special discount code for you to obtain 5% off your next purchase between March 25th and April 30th. It is high season during the summer and specials don’t come along often.
Last month we wrote an article about the new Premium Voyageur class that Air France is introducing on their international flights. What we didn’t tell you was that we were involved in a contest put on by Air France Canada. Air France invited 20 top Canadian Bloggers to take part in helping to promote the new class. Well, it turns out we won!
Big changes are happening at Air France and one of them is the launch of its Premium Voyageur cabin on all long-haul flights. This new class offers the traveler and upgrade in service and ammenities without the cost of business or first class flying. As they say in the press release, “It is giant leap forward in comfort for a small difference in price?”
Sometimes, the best part of travel is getting your luggage lost. Wait, wait! Hear me out. I’m serious. Here’s the story. A couple years ago I flew from Toronto to France via London. I was traveling with my friend Gillian. We went in September and planned on spending time in Paris, Marseille and then Poland. We were prepared for an assortment of weather possibilities.
