Thanks Kristin. Yes many people have had far scarier moments in travel. Ours thankfully ended up being silly and funny moments like this one. At the time when they were happening though, our hearts were pounding.

Ah, yes, the bear story. I’ve told that one a few times. Bears don’t scare me now – I encountered one in my own woods at fairly close range and there was a mother and cub on my lawn one day last summer. Peaceful animals – unless they want pepperettes! Thanks for sharing this, Deb!
