Big Spanish Giveaway, TBEX Winners Announced

We are pleased to announce the winners of our Big Spanish giveaway in Costa Brava.

Congratulations to Dustin Main of Skinny Backpacker and Mandy Moore of Vagabondette for winning a getaway in Costa Brava after TBEX Europe this September.

Two weeks ago, In Costa Brava partnered with ThePlanetD to give two lucky winners a getaway after TBEX; the Travel Blogging Conference taking place in Girona from Sept 21 to 23. They generously offered two of our readers a chance to extend their stay in Spain for a few more days. Dustin and Mandy can redeem their trip any time after TBEX to October 1st 2012.

Mandy will be heading off to the Park Hotel in San Jorge to enjoy three nights in luxury on the Mediterranean. A wonderful cliffside resort overlooking the sea she’ll be enjoying the post TBEX recovery in Costa Brava. The swimming pool is to die for, who wouldn’t want to sip cocktails poolside after taking in a day at the spa? Ooh, I wish I could join Mandy myself!

Dustin will be enjoying four nights at Las Medes Natural Park where he’ll be staying in a 2 room bungalow at Camping Las Medes. Camping Las Medes is just 2 minutes from Medes natural Park where you will find some of the best scuba diving spot in the Mediterranean. Just 800 metres from the beach, Dustin will be enjoying fun in the sun or mellow time at the indoor heated pool and sauna.

Running our contest through Raffle Copter, we had a great turn out with a total of 1167 entries. Entrants received various bonus points when completing different tasks such as liking our facebook fanpage, leaving a photo on In Costa Brava’s Facebook page or sending out a tweet to our Twitter page. The more you entered, the more chances you had to win. Dustin and Mandy must have done something right because when we used the random generator to pick a number, their names came up!
