We are currently strengthening our bodies, empowering our minds and finding health and balance in our lives at Rancho la Puerta in Baja California, Mexico. To really delve into the process we are leaving our computers in their cases and spending the rest of the week in the various classes that the ranch offers every day. From hiking up sacred mountain, to cardio boxing and circuit training to meditation we are reflecting on what is important in life.
We are also getting to know the other inspiring travelers and writers that are joining us on this week of well being…
Melanie and Adam from TravelsWithTwo
Beth From Wanderlust and Lipstick
Julia from All About the Pretty
Sloane from TheCausmopolitan
Julie from Things You Should Do
These people have made our time at the Ranch even more enriching than it already is and we want to spend the time taking advantage of every moment with them while exploring the over 3000 acres of property surrounding us in beautiful Northern Mexico.
We will be sharing all of our experiences with you from our time here in Mexico, but for now we are taking the moment to lose ourselves in the Rancho la Puerta experience.
Sounds like a lovely way to spend a week…and with some great folks too! Enjoy…Cheers.

Enjoy yourselves! I am sure you need to regroup after your adventures! Can’t wait to see you in May!
I was just telling my husband the other day that I’m exhausted and that I’d really like to go on one of those trips where I focus on me, not on all of the activities and entertainment. I’d like a detox trip where I can work out, focus, breathe and be. I am super envious of you right now. Sounds like a dream to me!

Lucky for you to be in the Baja. I was there in 2007. My sister just did her own version of balance and detoxing a few months ago in the Phillipines: she is much happier for it and healthier at that.
