i am heading to india in january and hope to do a yoga teacher training program, do you know of any good ones? any suggestions would be great!

I am sure it was a great experience unfortunately it must be expensive to go all the way to India to practice Yoga.

I know some places in Hong kong where genuine Swami’s from India take classes but again its not the same thing

This sounds awesome. Really it does. Actually I was driving around today and thinking of you both and your time in India (strange since I don’t really know you ) and I was thinking that I really want to add some serious yoga into our time in India as well. I have been struggling with being ill on and off for a few years now and it’s getting old. It also is stressful when thinking about traveling and I just want to be healthy. I think yoga is a good way of getting closer to that goal and it’s good to read about it! I added you guys to my blog roll too. I just realized that you weren’t on there – duh! Hope you’re having fun!

It’s one of my dreams to practice yoga with an authentic Swami. I’m so jealous. Remember Yoga is indeed a labor of love. It is work, but it is well worth it… physically and mentally!

I just don’t think that you could find a more picturesque place! I’m thirding Trisha and Amy – sunset shots are amazing. There is certainly no contest between taking a class with the Westerners or the Swami – my class in Rishikesh was led by a Swami and they’re just able to provide a deeper insight, it’s easier to see the other reasons for it when you’re not listening to another Westerner re-teach you what they learned!

I agree with Amy – gorgeous photo of you at sunset! The thing I love most about Yoga is that it’s something you can practice anywhere and for your whole life – but it will really pay off as you get older, when you’ll keep your mobility and flexibility much longer than those who don’t practice Yoga – no shuffling or stooping over for you!
