That is awesome Bethany. We to had the same dilemma. We started a blog for a race that we did down Africa in 2008, but it was just for family and friends and anyone following the race. We didn’t have a clue how to reach people. It was while researching other blogs that we found out that we could actually make a go at a professional blog. Good luck and thanks for coming back.

hey nice update, twitter was horrible this weekend alright. it does show you how much you really on it though. that is probably my biggest fear about the blog aswell that i will spend to much time on it as i travel which has me sometimes in two minds how to evolve witht he blog. Trying to put most of the work in on the site and getting it looking its best first is probably the best thing you can do and only concentrate on writing when your away

Aha! I found out a little problem that we are about to fix. Our RSS feed has stopped updating. We think that it has to do with the SEO work we had done since our tagline has changed. That can explain the drop in views since we also get a lot from subscribers. I will let you know how it goes!
Jason, I agree. We will remind each other to take it easy on the blogging while we are traveling. At least both of us our doing the majority before we leave right? I think that the initial months are very difficult, but it can only get better….I Hope.

It’s our biggest fear too. The primary reason for the trip is to experience the world. We will have to keep reminding ourselves of that. Blog looks great!
