It’s that time again. The time when you’ve already given up on your New Year’s Resolutions…that is if you made them.
Dave and I are the type of people that make resolutions.
We tend to make goals all year long, but we always take our New Year’s goals more seriously. After all it was a New Year’s Resolution in 2007 that made us join the Tour d’Afrique in 2008 where we cycled down Africa and changed our lives. So keeping with traditions, we have made a lot of goals and plans.
The only thing is, we haven’t gone to the gym as much as we wanted to. We wanted to do yoga every day, but we haven’t kept that promise. We’re only going a few times a week. Not only is yoga good for the body, it is good for the mind. Our minds have been racing with ideas and lists and goals and we need that hour to completely relax.
This fun infograph from Brighter Life came just at the right time as well because we needed a reminder. This is a crucial time to make sure you follow through with your goals. If you can get over this hump, you can do it!

This is my 1st year that I’m not doing resolutions, rather choosing a focus word. Mine is balance.
