I feel that this photograph captures the essence of Montemartre’s energy. Montemartre is a lively district near the Basilica of the Sacré Cœur and is one of the most colourful areas of Paris. The bohemian feel reminds of the artists of Renoir,Monet, Van Gogh and Picasso who lived in here in the late 19th century. And we look forward to going back to spend a summer in Paris to explore her lovely streets in depth one day especially the area of Montemartre. [...]

Wooow!! Now I want to go Paris even more!! Can you still be there till I get there Marlys?
I’ve seen Michael’s articles but through other traveler’s experience, it looks even more wonderful!

Social media is complicated but it’s wonderful for us travelers. Make a chance to get to know people we might never know in entire life!
Evenif we just met but we all have same basic moto of life, so it’s going to be wonderful gathering. I had one experience myself and I think there will be more.

Thanks for the kind and wonderful write up of your visit with us. But really, we were the ones who had such a wonderful time with you sharing your stories with us. (We still talk about and refer to them now and again.) I, personally, have always been fascinated by your travels from the moment I joined Twitter. I knew that Michael would love to hear about your “adventures” too. And I wasn’t wrong. Never did I imagine I’d meet you in person.

I totally agree with you: Michael and Marlys (@ParisBuff) are awesome people, so supportive, friendly and open! I can easily imagine how special it was touring Montmartre with such a great guide as Michael. I haven’t been to Paris recently, but for sure the day I’ll go I’d love to do the Movie Walk with Michael and Marlys.

Twitter is really a fantastic opportunity to meet amazing people, some of which one feels as friends after only a few tweets without knowing why.

I also enjoyed a lot your ‘Paris by night’ photo essay. Made me nostalgic and willing to go back to Paris soon…
