Wishing you all a Merry Christmas from India.
It is well over 30 degrees Celcius here in India. A far cry from the minus 15 we are used to in Canada. Last time we checked, the weather in Toronto was cold cold cold!
While we are not missing the cold, we are missing our family and friends and wishing you a joyous holiday. We will be spending our Christmas in Mumbai, hopefully splurging on a nice hotel where we will enjoy a traditional meal and think of home.
Talk to you on the 27th! We will be enjoying some Boxing Day shopping of our own, however we will be bargaining hard for our wares we think!
Thank you for all of your comments and email, even though we love to travel, it can be lonely on the road and a not from home can lift spirits in a big way!
Merry Christmas PlanetD Style from India
Celebrations taking place in Hampi. 500 years ago their first King was crowned. A cart sells different powders to be placed on foreheads. The colours are vivid and beautful.

Merry CHristmas, kiddies. Remember this night in Mumbai well. You will be talking about it years from now on Christmas Eves in Canada;-)
Merry Christmas Deb and Dave! My husband and I are also away from home this year, and having our first “white” Christmas in almost 15 years…..we too miss the people we usually spend this day with, but we’re really enjoying a peacful, quite, and beautiful (albeit very cold!) day.
Warm wishes to you both for a fabulous 2010 – I can’t wait to read about your boxing day shopping!

Merry Christmas! Thinking of you guys with good thoughts! Goa looks awesome. Ruins are phenomenal!
THAT sounded so darn niiiice. I’d gladly change this snow weather for some warmth, maybe not over 30C though… I’d settle for 20-25C. lol
? Happy Holidays ?
@Lifecruiser I agree, 20-25C is perfect! Happy holidays to you too!
@Trisha, A white Christmas is beautiful! I talked to our family at home and they aren’t having one this year, but it is darn cold! If it is going to be cold, a white Christmas is a must. I love waking up to snow on Christmas morning and it warms everything up whenever it snows in Canada.
@Dave and Bran! Thanks so much for the message! We miss you two, can’t wait to come up to the cottage and spend some time on the lake! Merry Christmas!
merry christmas from nz!
