I am sure that we will be having more as we go through our travels. It made us think about the other memorable massages that we have had on our past travels. Some experiences have been better than others and some stand our in our memories better than others. Here is a list of our Top 5 most memorable massages
One of the things that we are most looking forward to here in India is sampling the food. We have already enjoyed delicious meals of Masala, Palak Paneer and Dosai. Indian food has incredible flavour. As you read this, we are on a house boat cruising the backwaters of Kerala with our own private chef cooking the best of what India has to offer. The other night our hosts at Skylark Guest house in Varkala cooked us a traditional Kerala meal and it was incredible. We have only been in India a week so we really cannot write a blog post about food yet. We aren’t experts and don’t know a lot about the cuisine of this country yet.
In Six Days we will be in India. While it is drawing closer with every minute, it doesn’t even feel like in less than we week we will be on the other side of the world. We may be starting in India, but we have a lot of countries on our itinerary and we can’t wait to visit all of these destinations. So we want to share with all of you the adventures that we are most looking forward to in our upcoming travels. Will Dave be wrestling in Mongolia or will we find ourselves taking part in a Pilgrimage…Most Likely. We just can’t wait to get this adventure started!
Six months ago, we decided to work diligently on our blog. It has been an amazing experience writing daily posts and it has made us reflect on our past travels. In a few short weeks, we will be making new memories, but for now we would like to share some of our Favorite things that we have encountered in our travels. We were brainstorming about moments that have stood out over the years and here is our list of Favorites from abroad.
While I love movies like that, I often think about movies that I have seen on the road in our travels. Many times in a conversation, someone will mention a movie and it will trigger a memory. Just the other day we were talking about Rambo at work and I said “hey, I saw that in Botswana” It happens all of the time and I will remember where I saw it and then relive that time in a country in my brain. It brings a smile to my face.
We had traveled around the world before, but this was something completely different. After all, it was going to be our first time camping in the desert and in the jungle, it was going to be our first time stepping foot on the African soil and it was our first time ever crossing an entire continent on bicycle. We were in for quite and adventure.
It is the peak of our tourist season here in Ontario, so I thought that I would write a post for anyone visiting Toronto now or in the near future to let them our favorite attractions in Niagara Falls.

Sure, we have been to resorts and 5 star hotels, but it is always the suffering that stands out in our minds when we reminisce. When we truly test our relationship and survive the insane and ridiculous, that is when we know that we are meant to be together forever. Here is a list of some of our least romantic situations we have encountered during our travels of the world so far.
Recently we were invited to write a post for Velvet Escape regarding people that have inspired us on our travels. We have another post coming out today at CheapOair about our time in Bali, and it brought back memories of our instructor Ronald who was also an inspiration. It was a topic that really made [...]
Since we are leaving soon, I have been taking stalk of what I truly take for granted while I am at home in my comfortable apartment. It amazes me how the little things here can mean so much while I am on the road and I cannot fool myself into thinking that travel is glamorous.
We have had some pretty strange experiences when traveling. Some of them are completely out of our control and we just have to hang on and enjoy the ride. Others have been completely our own doing.
When I started writing this post, I was going to write about funny cities and towns that I have visited in my travels, but then I realized that they have nothing on Canada. Maybe it is all of our time spent indoors during the winter, but we have come up with some pretty strange names for our cities and towns.
Here is a list of ridiculous, funny and strangely named cities and towns from my home country, Canada. If you know of any from any part of the planet that has some funny names let me know.
We have done so many bone head moves traveling and have had so many close calls in potentially dangerous situations, that I had to add a part two to our list. So here are some more ridiculous situations that could have gone bad, but luckily didn’t and now we can laugh about them. 5; Having [...]
