Heli, Hike and Rail in Skagway – Video

We are already gone and on another adventure and we are just getting around to posting our videos from our Princess Cruises Follow Me at Sea Twitter Trip. We truly had an amazing time on this tour with the incredible bloggers of Liz from @Travelogged, Beth of Vacation Gals and @BethBlair, Catherine Bodry of @Gadling, Emlyn of @traveldudes, Carrie of @CruiseBuzz, JD of @EarthXplorer, Rick of Midlife Road Trip and RickGriffin, Chris of @OrlandoChris, and Nicole, Karen, Guy and Brian of @PrincessCruises-

The Best of Times!

This was the press trips to end all press trips and we all commented regularly on how the bar has been raised and we will forever compare our future travels to this incredible journey. Not only did we all get along famously well and we now consider everyone great friends, we had the chance to take part in the adventures of a lifetime.

One of our favourite days was getting the chance to hike with Rick and Denis and JD and Katherine through the Alaskan wilderness. We flew over the Juneau Ice Fields in a smooth helicopter ride and landed in the middle of nowhere to hike through the great Tongass National Forest.  After hiking for 3 hours and learning about the flora and fauna of the forest, we caught the famous White Pass Railway back to Skagway.  After a great day in the woods, we enjoy some delicious Alaskan Salmon and a Kokanee Beer. Yum!
