Victoria Falls, Adventures in Zambia
Victoria Falls is Africa’s adventure capital. As we cycled through the continent we had the opportunity to spend two days in Livingstone Zambia. We made the most out of those two days booking excursions morning, noon and night to make the most of all it has to offer.
Victoria Falls is the world’s largest waterfall by volume and the people of Zambia have made an entire adventure destination surrounding the falls. You can white water raft, take an ultralight, go on safari and paddle down the river.
We however did all the adrenaline activities we could think of in Vic Falls. We did a bungy jump, gorge swing, abseil and a helicopter ride through the gorge. We walked right along the falls and looked Devils pool in the eye. There is so much to do in Victoria Falls, you need a week to make it happen. Make sure to head to Chobe National Park for a safari as well.
Lucky for us our next destination was Botswana so we rode our bikes to the border and hopped on a river safari to make the most of our time in Africa!
