We didn’t know what to expect when we booked a tour with Rivers Fiji to white water raft the Upper Navua River in Fiji. But once we met our guide Moses, we knew that we were in for a day to remember. Riding these waters for 12 years and one of the original guides in Fiji, Moses led our team of 5 boats down stunning scenery and exhilarating rapids weaving through a pristine rainforest. We were lucky and ended up in his raft with the fabulous and fun Amy and Dan from California.
We will tell you more about our time on the river in a couple of days, but we just had to share this photo of Dave and our guides (Moses is on the right giving a thumbs up)

Dave and the Guides of River Fiji
This is at the “Free Massage Waterfall” and we can attest that this water is certainly powerful. These guys braved the cold for several minutes while I snapped away to get the perfect shot. They hammed it up for the camera. To give you an idea of our day, this type of thing went on for the entire 5-hours on the river. Waterfights, waterfalls, jokes and laughter. Hey, what do you expect? These guys have been on MTV!
