This is a great post. In addition to owning a travel guidebook company, I work with several non-profits on their marketing strategy. Thanks Trisha. I agree. People can do so much with their old and used bikes and anything for that matter. It is great to find organizations like this that will take our old bikes and do great things with them. Nani is a whiz at repairs too, so he makes everything run in tip top shape for the people of Cuba.

I am associated with BCB and would like to add that….
Cash donations over $25 will receive a tax receipt. Also if you donate the use of space ideally in Toronto we can work out a tax receipt based on the value of the space. Please help – we need you support.

What a wonderful idea! I hope this organization can get a lot of exposure so that more people will think about donating an old bike instead of throwing it away (or even selling it at a garage sale – it’s worth so much more than the few dollars they’d get to someone who really needs it). Great article!
