There is nothing like racing down the hill on a sunny day. One of our favorite mini holiday destinations is Mont Tremblant. There is just enough adventure mixed in with the decadence of luxury hotels, fine wine and great food.

Some places don’t have sheets and they can be used as sheets, a skirt for an evening out (if it is a nice sarong) for on the beach, for showering if you have to shower in a public place, to put over you to visit temples. I always like to bring at least 4 sarongs with me.

And when we discover new and delicious food, well, we are in heaven.

We were climbing in a group of 7 strong individuals who had just finished cycling 4500 km in tough conditions from deserts in Sudan, to altitude in Ethiopia and we all agree, it was one of the most physically challenging experiences of our lives. However, also one of the most exhilarating. I am happy to say that we all made it to the summit.
