The 15th century stone village of Dana in Jordan is a quiet almost deserted place located in the heart of the Dana Biosphere Nature Reserve.
In Wadi Rum, Jordan, we had our chance to sleep in a Bedouin Camp. We arrived at Captains Desert Camp after our jeep safari where we took a sunset camel trek.
We were looking forward to spending the night at Evason Ma’in Hot Springs Hotel in Jordan. We had heard that it was a wonderful experience sitting under it’s thermal waterfall letting the stress of life melt away.

The Wadi Mujib gorge in Jordan houses some of the most spectacular cliffs we have ever witnessed and we were going to hike, swim, slide and abseil right down the centre of them all.
The Feynan Eco Lodge is a part of The Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature in Jordan. Located in the Dana River Biosphere Reserve, it is a solar powered retreat offering peace and quiet while promoting conservation.
It was very exciting when we went to the Dead Sea in Jordan. This is a place where anyone can float and I was determined to put this rumour to the test.
