It is the guides and people you meet that make travel worth doing. Our guide Ali and our driver Mahmoud in Jordan are two wonderful men.
Mahmoud is a gentle man with a kind heart and when we visited Captain’s Desert Camp in Wadi Rum Jordan, we met a camel that Mahmoud helped bring into the world two weeks earlier. He was very excited to show us his new arrival and when we walked out back to see it, he came running up to say hello.
Mahmoud had the honour of naming this little guy Wolf – Diab in Arabic.
Diab took quite a shine to Dave.
Stay tuned for more posts on our time in Jordan and on Ali and Mahmoud.
