In Rajasthan, India we came across a friendly man making delicious steamed milk. The guys that boil this milk to be used in chai are true artists. They mix and scoop the milk drawing long lines of liquid through the air. The more skilled they are, the longer the line between the cup and the pot. I think this man had a lot of skill.

That vat of milk looks so tasty. I had a cup of that delicious sweet almond milk and it was heavenly. The man was quite friendly as well.
This photo was taken downtown Jaiselmer, India.
Great photo – the colours really pop with the white milk against this man’s green jumper. I have just finished planning my first trip to India which will be taken in 2013. It is a country that slightly daunts me but I am also really excited about going there! Thanks for the colourful shot to inspire me further.
Watching the chai-wallahs and enjoying a steaming hot cup of chai in India is one of my favorite things to do there, especially if the chai is accompanied by a crisp, tasty masala dosa (in southern India)!
Beautiful picture. What is the purpose of drawing longer and longer lines with the milk? Is it just artistry or is it something crucial to the process?
Great action shot
India is very high up on my visiting list!
Lovely photograph. Thanks for sharing.
